Closing conference, April 25th 2017

The project “Digitization of medieval documents from the National Archives of Romania” has come to an end!

Tuesday, April 25th 2017, we attended the conference that marked the end of the project financed through EEA Grants within the PA16/RO12 Programme. The event was organized by the University of Bucharest together with the project partners, National Archives of Romania and Babeș-Bolyai University. The partner from the donor states, the National Archives of Norway, had a video intervention during the conference. Also, two Ph.D. students talked about their experience within project implementation and the perspective of medieval history research using the database.

The conference gathered representatives of the research and academic field, considering the database www.arhivamedievala.ro contains medieval documents prior to 1600 preserved by the National Archives of Romania.
