The overall objective of the project is showcasing the historical monuments within the Transylvania Ethnographic Museum - open space Section, respectively restoring and conserving the wood churches Cizer and Petrindu, in order to increase tourism attractiveness in Cluj and Transylvania.
The specific objectives are:
- Highlighting the historical monuments, wood churches Petrindu and Cizer through restoration and conservation;
- Increasing tourism attractiveness in Cluj, by including in a tourist circuit the rehabilitated cultural heritage within Transylvania Ethnographic Museum - open space Section - the wood churches Petrindu and Cizer.
- Strengthening bilateral relations between a local authority, a cultural entity and a Norwegian NGO specialized in urban architecture, in order to harness local cultural heritage.
The expected results are materialized in the following indicators: 2 historical monuments restored, conserved and highlighted, one developed local community, one international partnership developed.
