The Bistrița-Năsăud Museum Complex, an illustrative cultural patrimony for our county, is located within the former Habsburg barracks built in the late 19th century on Grigore Bălan Street, at no. 19, Bistrița chief town. It was inaugurated in 1987 and the Natural History Department, which is the subject-matter of the project, was created in 1955.
