On 18th May 2016, starting 11 a.m., Buzău County Museum will organize the opening of „Walking around the globe. The story of 497 pairs of peasant sandals” exhibition.

The Hungarian University Federation from Cluj-Napoca (FUMC – KMEI) is implementing the project “Culture and Nature in Transylvania: Past and Future” through which a unique transdisciplinary and transnational research group is established that studies the cultural and natural heritages of the South-Western part of Sălaj County

The project “UNESCO fortified churches in Transylvania - a network for "defending" cultural heritage with open "gates" in order to facilitate access to it”, implemented by the Unitarian Church of Dârjiu in partnership with Civitas Foundation for Civil Society, was finalized on 30 April 2016.

During April 2016, the revitalization of the southern tower of the Medieval Roman Catholic Cathedral in Alba Iulia was finalized. The project financed through EEA Grants, Programme PA16/RO12, included a component of improving public access to the southern tower by installing a special elevator for disabled people.

The Project Management Unit within the Ministry of Culture, acting as Programme Operator for PA16/RO12 Conservation and revitalisation of cultural and natural heritage, announces that 15 April 2016 is the deadline for Measure B – Fund for bilateral relations, Round 1/2016.
