The exhibition „Kissed Again and Again. Romanian Icons from Transylvania”, December 4th 2015 – February 14th 2016
MUSEIKON. New Icon Museum revitalizes a restored heritage building in Alba Iulia
On December 4th 2015, at the University Museum of Bergen, took place the opening ceremony of the exhibition „Kissed Again and Again. Romanian Icons from Transylvania”, organized by Alba County Council, in partnership with the National Museum of Unification Alba Iulia, the Orthodox Archdiocese of Alba Iulia and the University Museum of Bergen.
The exhibition presents old Romanian icons from Transylvania, dating from 1720 – 1890. This activity is part of the project „Museikon. New Icon Museum revitalizes a restored heritage building in Alba Iulia”, financed through EEA Grants, Programme PA16/RO12.
The exhibition „Kissed Again and Again. Romanian Icons from Transylvania” is available until February 14th 2016.
